This is one of the best McDonald's that's near my house. My hometown McDonald's was always a little slow and sometimes things would be missing so you always had to fully check your order when they handed you the bag. This McDonald's is mostly run by adults and they're on top of things, fast, and very friendly, which is all pretty amazing considering they don't get paid a lot and have a busy job with a lot of minutiae to remember. In the summer during tourist season, it's crazy busy, and there are added seasonal employees who are mostly Europeans here on work or education visas. They are also very friendly, maybe just a tad slower than the usual staff, but that's to be expected. This McDonald's usually runs like a well-oiled machine, thanks to their great employees.

I would give them less than 1 star if I could. We waited in the drive through for over an hour and the cars were not moving. We were literally trapped and the line did not move. Worst experience of any fast food place I’ve been and we didn’t even get food so I’m still hungry, my kids are crying and we waisted an hour!!!!!

The food here is always hot & delicious! No complaint here. This McDonald's is doing a great job! There Food Service score stays above a 98 and I'm always impressed with their sanitation and ckeanliness. There bathrooms also are always clean and kept stich with appropriate bathroom supplies; as I hate going to a restroom and not having toilet paper. The personnel are usually always friendly. I like this McDonald's and frequent it often.

22 May 16 - Have been here twice. Pretty average so far. 5 April 2017 - Apparently my first couple of times were lucky good days. Hit or miss service at best. Super dysfunctional at worst. My longest wait ever for fast food has occurred at this McDonald's. Just short of 30 minutes for a very basic to-go order. Only a couple of orders in front of me. What could possibly be the problem?! I could have walked back there and literally made the food faster myself. So weird. 26 September 2017 - Inexplicably slow! Thanks to this place I now usually just make something at home if I'm ever debating eating here. That's probably the best thing that's ever happened to my health, ha. The only reason this place gets a 2-star rating is because the employees are usually very nice and the facilities are clean. Otherwise, this location, along with the Kitty Hawk location, are the two slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. The drive-thru here is unbearably slow. 10 - 15 minute wait time on the regular (many times longer), and it's NOT because they are busy. Usually you can get faster service by going inside, but not always. I don't get it. Nothing about this place is "fast" food.

it's McDonald's what do you expect. Get your food. Its in the heart of Kitty Hawk. Service is good and quick. Did not have a problem.
