My husband and I ate there yesterday to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. Although some of the food tasted fresh, we could tell not all was freshly prepared. Some of the crab legs were dry inside and since we got there at opening, quickly realized they were left over. My main complaint is a lot of it was too salty. I wound up with a headache later on. We both love seafood; the photos of the buffet was like a seafood lover's dream and thought it would be a great 2 hour trip from Hampton, VA. Our server was very attentive. We will return but maybe order from the menu next trip. I plan to bring my daughter and her husband down when they visit from NY soon but Please, lighten up on the salt!

We got there around 8:00 on a Tuesday...maybe things were not so good because it was late in their day and they had not been busy. Anyway, the crab legs were cold, and the various fish dishes were cold, dried out, and had an odd aftertaste. The floor was visibly wet under our table and in other places near the buffet--one of the busboys slipped on a wet place and nearly fell. On the other hand, our server was pleasant and efficient. The buffet is $35 per person--totally not worth it! That was our second and last time there.

Had a nice meal, worth the money spent. This is the place for someone who loves crab legs. The other options were similar to what you would expect of buffet food. Great mixed drinks. Avoid bringing children that dont eat seafood, but for those that do prices are fair. Would go back.

If first impressions count, this place bombed! We left without eating. Very poor presentation... from the lobby, wait staff, food, etc. Had dinner at Capt’n George’s instead... total class, great food, atmosphere, and service. Skip Jimmy’s!

Like most buffets, some food was great and some was lousy. Having an upbeat waitress made all the difference. We went for the all you can eat lobster tails on Friday.
