Had to ask for a waiter. No one came over to us after 10 minutes. Most Mexican restaurants will give you chips and salsa as you sit down. Again we had to ask for it AFTER our drink order and AFTER our food order. Then they bring one tiny bowl of salsa. For 4 people?? More bowls are extra charge...what?? I had chicken nachos. The chicken was very dry and the cheese looked very weird, like it didnt melt, it kinda clumped. Like a very cheap cheese would do. Just want impressed at all.

Food was mediocre service was terrible. We have been hearing about this place for years and finally decided to give it a try. I would like to preface this review by saying that I am in the process of recovering from multiple stomach ulcers so I do have a bunch of dietary restrictions. However, I'm in the stretch where I have been able to incorporate different foods again. However, I cannot eat spicy foods. So with that disclaimer this was our experience. When we got there it was still fairly early maybe between 5 and 5:30. We did get a away immediately and our waiter came quickly and took our drink orders. We ordered. Of course I had some changes because of the previously mentioned ulcers. I know it can be annoying to the wait staff, but it keeps me out of the hospital. So anyway, the food arrived fairly quickly and we the waiter didn't come back to our table until it was time for,the check. The only time he asked how it was, was when he brought the food before I could even take the first bite. I take two maybe three bites and my mouth starts tingling and now I have realized they spiced the rice in my burrito with chili powder. And I can't eat it. I really wish the menu had been more specific about that. So I stop eating and it's another 20 minutes before the waiter comes back. Never once asked either of us again how the food was even though he can see I didn't eat. I had absolutely no problem paying for what I ordered and couldn't eat, it's fine. But I really would have liked the opportunity to have tried to order something else I could have eaten. Now you see at this point, because I have gotten very hungry and have really nothing on my stomach to speak of, the acid starts churning and I start getting sick. So thanks for that. The waiter comes back with the check asks if I want a box. I looked at my husband and said, I can't eat it so it's up to you. The waiter NEVER questioned that!!!!! Husband said food was mediocre at best and a Chipotle would easily put them out of business. Don't waste your time or money. It does not live up to the hype. If someone gave me the option of Bad Bean or Taco Bell, I would take Taco Bell hands down, every time!

Service it's self was good. The good was ok. Nothing crazy like reviews mentioned. The tacos were small-$5 a piece... Not worth that much. Dessert was $8. Yummy but it was a lot of ice cream to make it look bigger. Taco salad was small-not much beans or rice. To add a bit of chicken $4-(after eating, I realized,if I didn't add that I would still be hungry). Wasn't impressed to spend $50. :/

Tortilla chips are excellent. Food is fair/good. Bar is small but nice if not crowded. Ambience is cafeteria-like.

Words cannot fully describe how wonderful this place is. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! The a la carte tacos are a "winner" and their burritos are excellent. The salsa and various dips are perfect, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to visit again!
