The hot sauce is good, not too hot and better than the sause they serve you. Steak tocos and real good, they use a good qualtiy steak.

Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Always a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend El Campesino (Grilled chicken and shrimp, topped with a cheese sauce, served with rice, salad and guacamole.) My wife and I have been coming here for 9 years. Everyone we have invited has had a similar experience. When friends and relatives come from out of town, first place they want to visit is El Senor. I've seen some negative reviews about this place, but obviously, they had too many margaritas before they came.

Service was good. I had to order off the menu because of my diet and they were very accommodating. The prices were also good. That's why I didn't give it one star. Salsa was too tomato based and very bland. I don't care for a lot of spice but this had zero. Chips were over cooked. Beans and rice were really plain, vegetables were over cooked. My son enjoyed his dish but felt it did not have enough cheese and there was very little, he felt the same about rice and beans. I have friends and go here and like it. So it depends what you are looking for. I've had much better.

Very authentic Mexican food and the nicest waiters I've ever met. Sometimes bustling and chaotic, but so worth it! I love to come back..

This is by far the best Mexican food near Raleigh.
