My family and I ate at The Main Table for breakfast recently, and were very disappointed. We arrived at opening, and were one of two parties there. They were not completely set up when the doors opened; not all the food was out, lights weren't on, etc. Food was not being monitored for temp control; a whole section of the buffet line's heating was out, and nobody noticed until we told the waitress. How long had the food been sitting out to have been cold right after opening? Wife and daughter found two dirty plates on the stack, and set them to the side. Then, the plates stayed on the line until, once again, we mentioned it. The food that was warm was often overcooked, or lacked flavor. Coffee was good, and the waitress was very polite. It was a good price, but don't expect to get much bang for your buck.

We go at least once a week for supper. The food is fresh & hot. Anytime between lunch & supper is basically leftovers. Biscuits are never hot. Some desserts, like cobblers, are cold & the pans almost empty. I’d like to have dessert if they’re fresh..

Ive been her twice the first time the only thing that was good and seasoned was the scrimp and girts. The second and last I went there me and my children felt very uncomfortable. After fixing our place we notice that waitress were looking through the food as if we poisoned the food. My kids (not to brag) are very well behaved cause the know I'll get that butt. Just feel like this place is not for me!!!

Delicious home cooking. Friendly staff and owners. Love the many options including the fried chicken and oyster stew on Friday.
