Absolutely horrible service and food. Felt very unwelcomed since it took 15 minutes for someone to take our order after they passed us off to the back patio. Ordered the fried chicken salad, and a grilled cheese basket. Fries were uncooked and cold. Grilled cheese was slapped together, and the fried chicken salad was unappetizing. Since my server did not notice that my girlfriend was placing her fried chicken to the side because she kept running away from our table so quickly, we were forced to wait until we paid to say something. Not only did they make us pay for “chicken that was half ate” there was not a “manager” on duty either. I will never return to this pit stop. Do not waste your time or hard earned money on this disgusting place.

I moved to the area almost 2 years ago. I drove past Chuckwagon everyday and after about a year of doing so, my husband and I finally decided to stop by when they had Flounder for their daily special. We've been hooked ever since. I'm embarrassed to say how many times a week we eat there. There have been some minor mishaps but nothing that would that deter us from not coming back. We have really gotten to know Angela really well, we just love her! We will be relocating to Alabama soon and we're going to miss this place tremendously. Love the small atmosphere, the signs on the wall, and of course the food.

The fried pickles are wonderful. The poor boy, poor girl, half and half are their signature sandwiches. The daily specials offer variety from hamburger steak, to spaghetti, to ribeye steak. I've been going to Chuckwagon probably forty years and it's still just as good as it ever was.

Tryed the bbq sandwich , taste like can bbq from the store an very little bbq on the bun , the blt is pretty good an the chz burgers are pretty good , the steaks are not up to par maybe to each his own . The onion rings are poor, the batter must have fallin off during deep frying dont know . The hot dogs taste like they were boiled to long the slaw on the hot dog made the dog so soggy that you couldnt eat it holding it .. the waitress was very nice . Cut potatos deep fryed are pretty good . I eat at chuckwagon all the time the specials of the day are home style cooking an is very good .
