Moe's Original Bar B Que is my favorite Bar B Que in the greater Charlotte area. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very original. It is a home-town feel and they have a natural approach on making everyone feel welcome. The crowd is consistent and you see a lot of new and regular faces that makes it a destination but also a place I call my “My Local Place.” Moe's will always keep me coming back... They deliver Home-Town and delicious every time!!! In fact every time my sister visits she requests "Moe's Bar B Que.” Thank you again for making this one of our favorite destinations.

This is great barbecue, with a lot of variety on the menu. The turkey is very good, the wings are the best my wife has ever had (her first choice always), and the sides are delicious too. Of course, the pork and brisket are good also. And you can get dessert (Mississippi mud pie....hmmmm good!) as a side as well. And I love the Brunswick stew. Downtown Matthews is a great location and the restaurant environment is nice and natural. Simple and basic. Highly recommended. If guests come to town, to Moe's we go!

Don't for the service because it's Meh. But the food quality is great. The smoked wings and brisket are super good! You do bus your own table etc so don't leave your stuff behind

Good bbq and a good price. Lunch portions were spot on. Collards were top shelf, not at all stalks, just tender leaves. I would prefer no sauce on my pulled pork. Let me decide that. The Brunswick Stew......well it was more like undercooked vegetable soup. Not a good representation of Brunswick Stew that I have ever encountered. Service was good.

Really didn’t enjoy the food. I got the pulled pork platter with baked beans and mac n cheese. I’ve tasted box mac n cheese with more flavor. Pull pork had too much vinegar flavor. The atmosphere is nice and family friendly, and staff were polite. So, I’d give it 1 star for customer service alone.
