The food is absolutely amazing here. I love the fact that they use all fresh and mostly locally harvested food. I had the shrimp and grits as well as the almond maple coffee. Both of them were to die for. The staff is so friendly every time I visit and I also love the fact that it is a family owned business. It feels like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The service was absolutely stellar and so was the food. Bread pudding was savory and delicious. Carrot cupcake and grilled chicken wrap was super fresh! I will definitely be making reservations for the family dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Excellent food, superb customer service and a no pressure atmosphere. If they have a wait when you go, it’s worth it!

This is the 3d location for Stone Table in the last 20+/- yrs. I like it. On a historic downtown corner. High ceilings, a simple, pleasant feel, they could use a few decorator touches. Their food is always good, and fits their sligan, A Modern Southern Kitchen. The service and plating is good. A friend got their specialty they call Whimsy: tell them what you want, and what you don't want, and they will put together an imaginative main course. Hers was terrific. I am planning to bring a friend here who has some serious food allergies and preference issues. This is a nice stop if you're in Monroe.

The food here was delicious and made with such care; each strawberry slice on strawberry toast was aligned perfectly for example. The coffee was great. I had almond butter coffee, it was, as I've said, delicious. They make each cup individually and bring you a small pot with some extra so you can do a mid-cup refill if you so desire, and you will desire! Lastly, the staff was very friendly, smiling, greeting customers, talking with them, doing customer service the right way. I will be back.

Great food, farm-fresh ingredients, and the chef will come out and explain exactly how he preps the dish if asked. The whimsy is what my husband has gotten every time, and it is superb. It varies daily, as it is made "on a whim" with whatever ingredients the chef has in hand and allows him to be creative. There is a variable selection of juices, freshly made, and the sweet tea that we are all used to here in the south is made as sweet or unsweetened as desired - you add the simple syrup. Or the BlackBerry strawberry syrup. Or the ginger lemon. Whichever you prefer. I haven't had the desserts, or tried all of the entrees, but will be back to try more. Pictured is one of the whimsy creations (chicken, bacon, pepper, cheese quesadilla, with sweet young purple amaranth, among other ingredients), and a chicken salad sandwich, which sounds plain, but is divine. Highly recommended!
