Never disappointed, sets the bar high. The owner, Mr. Kennedy never fails to come by our table, greet us with a smile and genuinely cares to make sure we're taken care of. The atmosphere in a multi suite space with high, punched tin ceiling and depression era detailing reminds me of days gone by growing up in Raleigh. His lunch menu has a good variety and is if anything, underpriced. My wife has sworn off most other Italian restaurants in the area, especially the franchise ones as there is just no comparison. I'm glad to support a long time small business and fellow native, I wish you the same wonderful experience that we have encountered.

I had a wonderful dinner here last week. They have a great selection of wines and the menu is full of authentic Italian dishes. The wait staff was amazing and not pushy at all, they let you take your time. The owner even came over and made sure that everything was satisfactory. Great place for a nice dinner!

I got married at cafe Luna May 6th, 2018 and it was wonderful. Darcey was amazing! She helped me with the itinerary, making sure everyone was on the same page, and not pushing to go past any budgets we were on the same page that less was more and that with the venue itself you didn’t need a bunch of decor it was simple and beautiful on its own it didn’t need flowers draped everywhere or on every table it was just everything I wanted. The buffet style was incredible all the different options of food and leftovers galore! The food was delicious, the fruit was fresh! There was plenty of room for guests. It exceeded expectations. I 100% recommend.

I have to add a disclaimer to this review: I have only been here once, and it was for a wedding reception. The owner or manager kept asking for the DJ to turn the music down, which if the venue is meant more for a low key wedding with quiet music, I feel that this should be disclosed upfront. The food was good that we had, and it seemed like they got a lot of options, which was great. The guests were stacking up food on their plates.

Caffe Luna continues to be a perfect date spot. Food is top notch Italian. The service is always phenomenal. I made reservations here for right after I proposed with a request for champagne to be on the table when we arrived. Not only did she say yes, the dinner right afterwards was divine.
