First off..let me say that I've eaten Japanese food all over the world. I must say this has to be the worst ever. I had two plates. One was chicken..the other steak. The chicken plate had about two tablespoons of chicken and two tablespoons of mushrooms. There was also about two cups of rice. The steak plate was the same. Everything was dry. The yum yum sauce tastes like sour similac. The price was unbelievable...$35.00. I give Yamatos two thumbs and two big toes down.

The sushi is always fresh, tastes great. There are some horrible experinces for sushi up this way. Yamato is so not one of them. Would recommend this place to all

Best Japanese food I've ever had. Best sushi around, hands down. I've eaten at a lot of different Japanese and Sushi restaurants over the years in Cary/Raleigh areas and other out of town areas. The quality of the food they use in their dishes and sushi truly make the difference. You can taste the difference between quality meats/veggies and subpar meats/veggies.

This place has really gone down hill over the past couple of years. The wife and I used to really like this place but the last two times we have eaten here it was not good, and two nights ago we both got sick from eating here.
