Normally I really don’t like pizza but It was great experience. He made it front of me, he wasn’t rush like other places. I’m happy to get pizza from here. I think I ll eat from there when I go to Smithfield.

They are so hit and miss. We've tried to give them multiple chances for delivery. The last two times the order was wrong and cold. We will not be wasting our money here again. We loved having something different for delivery here in Smithfield. The first few orders were great but now service is terrible. I've been put on hold only to hear staff argue about how to use the computer system. The delivery time is always 45min to an hour. Last time it turned out to be an hour and a half. The food was cold and soggy not to mention the order was wrong. It just isn't worth the hassle.

Really bad service. This was my first visit and I was excited to try some authentic New York style pizza. I heard good things about their food and was disappointed before I even entered the front door. We stopped in on Thursday 05/22/14 at 9:55 PM. There were no store hours posted on the door. We got a disgusted look from a lady sweeping the floor as we approached. We walked in and the cashier was polite and we asked if they were closing. They close at 10:30PM. The lady whose name we found out later is "Jen" told us that we could not dine in as she was mopping. We ordered our food and paid for it at 10:02PM. This was the time "Jen" proceeded to turn off the open sign. We felt very unwelcome and Jen made it a point to show her disgust as if we had walked in right at closing. She then sat outside by the out door table and smoked and played with her cell phone while we waited for our food. This will be my first and last impression of this place regardless of how good the food tastes. If it were not for the cashier and the rest of the staff we would have left. The cashier was fairly new and she explained that the owner "Brandon" just had surgery the same day. This was offered after we asked who the owner was and how we may contact him. There were no other customers at the time and I suppose they were trying to shut it down early and we happened up at the wrong time. Very very disappointed and will never return.

I use to love going to this place for Pizza but as of today it will be my last . Called in an order for one large pie ...told 20 mins for pickup . After waiting for one hour and paid for my order ...I asked is my ordered ready three times and the lady at the register said we are working on it .....ten minutes later asked about my order and the guy was just about to make it . Told him cancel my order !!!! Never again will I go there. If you guys are hungry don't go here to get food because you won't ever get served. TERRIBLE!!! Please stop telling ur customer 25 mins because when I was there waiting on my pizza that was never made you guys were telling people over the phone 25 minutes. Going to Sami pizza in Selma where my order will be done in 15 minutes or less.

I'm torn on the rating, pizza is really good service not so much. Every time we place an order it's early (4:45-5pm) and we get it delivered. About 4 out of 5 times it comes significantly later than they quote us. The last time we made an order the told us 45 minutes to an hour, and we called after waiting for 1.5 hours, at which time they said it was out for delivery. The manager said he would take five dollars off the bill, which we thought was nice. We called again 45 minutes after the first call and questioned where our pizza was and we were first told by a girl that "the driver couldn't find your house" then when we asked why we weren't called the manager told us "they delivered to the wrong house." So after not really knowing what happened to our pizza we were told that next time we call to order we will get "an equal value" for free, and of course we were refunded for the food we never received. To get our free food we need to ask to speak to the manager and I suppose hopefully a few days later he remembers us. The food is very good though. Coming from NJ my spouse and I have been very picky with pizza and Angelo's has not disappointed in quality... when we actually get it. If they could fix wait times, communication and delivery issues I would have rated them much higher.
