For what we paid - about $30 for meals for three and two sodas - this place was pretty much a disaster. My hotdogs came off as boiled; the chili clearly came directly out of a can (and was barely warmed), and don't get me started on the $5.95 "chili nachos" - about two dozen bagged tortilla chips, with a smattering of the same disgusting chili, and a few melted slices of cheese. The sweet potato fries were a win - seemingly homemade and quite tasty, and there were some fresh veggies in the cheese quesadillas. But overall, this fare was comparable in quality to school cafeteria food, at prices higher than the decidedly much tastier food that can be acquired at a Sonic drive-in. The ice cream that other reviewers are raving about was just Hershey's - you can buy it at Food Lion for a fraction of the price and scoop it at home. Perhaps worst of all, the carrot sticks were wet and limp - what kind of raw carrot is *wet and limp*? I do not recommend this establishment.

Went as part of a road trip. Definitely a must hit if you are in the mood for ice cream. They have a ton of flavors and ice cream specialties. They give you a great deal of food, it's awesome. 🍨🍖👍

When deciding on a place for a meal or a quick snack, don't forget Hula Girl. Hidden among the antique stores of Selma is a colorful, almost hidden jewel. Smiles welcome you, wonderful service and delicious food abounds. Top your meal off with either a peach or apple jack served with ice cream and all you will be able to say is.... YUMMY

Steaks came out a little over cooked but Rose, the owner, took care of. Great recovery and great service. The steak ended up being delicious! Thanks Rose!

The folks here are always nice. It's within walking distance from the Selma Amtrak Train station. Just walk out the front door of the station and turn left. Walk down the road for about 5 minutes and you'll likely see the sign. Tons of ice cream and all kinds of burgers. Great food!
