Got tacos to be safe since it was our first time there. Very cheap. The tortillas were not hand made and the wait was about 15 min for only 3 tacos nothing special. They gave us the smallest limes of 1 SQUIRT and when we asked for more the host was sweeping and didn't wash her hands before grabbing the limes with NO GLOVES. We also saw the lady in the back eating I hope they wash their hands since it looks like no GLOVES are used in this place.

Food is good and cheap. Portions can be somewhat small, but I suspect its more traditional. We eat here a lot and probably won't stop anytime soon.

If you are in the area this is a must stop in a surprisingly unassuming building in a unassuming location. We were visiting nearby Saxapahaw only to discover the main restaurant closed at the local brewery; as we headed out of town and only 2 miles out we spotted this true hole in the wall resturant. The salsa is definitely home made with the sharp taste of fresh cilantro. The plates were cooked to order and the typical sides found at all Mexican restaurants were surprisingly good! Everything was fresh and tasty!
