This place was the highlight to our visit for a funeral in Windsor, North Carolina. All the food especial the dinner was fantastic--the fried trout to die for... the breakfast was heavenly as well. Did I mention it's an all you can eat, they also have reasonable prices take-out food if need be!

We eat most every Sunday at Shamrock. Once in awhile we do buffet but mainly we order from the menu. They have a good variety on the buffet which is the hot bar, salad bar and deserts. We eat way too much when we do that. They also have a good selection to order from. Their fried chicken is outstanding. We also go during the week as well. If you want to make a reservation they will do that. I called just a few minutes before we were going for a table of 12 and they were able to accommodate us. You need to give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Terrible experience. My family and I are in town for a basketball tournament. There aren't many restaurants around here to choose from so we decided on shamrock. Bad choice. We got there and got buffet. $12.99 ea. Salad was included. The salad bar was small with little choices. The eggs were terrible. Smelled like they were rotten and tasted worse. Get to the buffet. Everything looked like it had been sitting there for the entire day. We braved it and got our first round. Not very appetizing. Lasagna was the best thing up there. As we are finishing up the first round, the staff from the back comes out and just starts putting the buffet food away! The one we just paid $12.99 for each adult and $8.99 for each kid for!! Then my son's chicken tenders had hair (human hair) fried into the breading! Absolutely shameful. We ended up paying $40! It took everything in me to not just walk out without paying it. I'm so very upset about our experience and truly hope they either close down or step their game up.

The food was excellent, service was great! The lunch buffet had many tasty choices. I recommend this restaurant as a great place to dine.

Very good food. Down home cooking. Potatoes could use some help but other than that it was very good.
