It was ok. If your looking for a southern BBQ this is not the place to find it. Brisket was tender but the pulled pork was flavorless. Definitely needed a southern kick. Service was slow and under staffed. This is the place to go after a night of drinking where you don't care what the place looks like or how the food taste.

Probably the best place in Town, no it is. Not a huge salad bar but makes up for it in freshness & how good all the sides are. In town for 11 wks for a job, tried 2 Mexican restaurants thumbs dow I tried 3 but the best B Fast Country Rose Cafe hands down portions a little on the small side.Back to JD's been there 4 times & each suggestion was right on, Prima Rib tonight excellent, sweet potatoes & baked beans good addition, corn bread ? maybe if served warmer or hot with butter . Overall my choosing for the next few weeks...🌊😎

Ate there yesterday. Had the pork and chicken combo. Pork was super dry. I spoke up and the tender brought me out more. That too was dry but had some good pieces. A joint that smokes their own bbq should not require 1/2 cup of sauce to make their food edible. Salad was good, that’s why I gave 2 stars. I won’t be coming back anytime soon. Super disappointing.
