Okay..... so I use to live in Sandusky and then moved to Cleveland 13 years ago and We have continued to eat at Bob Evans on occasion when we come into town to visit family and friends. So we came into town recently for Mother’s Day and decided to take my mom and family to eat. We didn’t have to wait as long as I thought we would, seeing that we had a party of 6. We were seated and placed our drink order with the server, which I have to say was very nice, but seemed exhausted from having to work a 12 hour shift the day prior and then having to work on Mother’s Day... sigh :( She brings over the tray of drinks and immediately drops a glass of soda that goes all over the table, my father and my friend. And I’m not going to blame this on the server, the mason jar glasses are cool, but when they sweat, they are hard to hold and should probably have handles..... just a suggestion, that might be a brand standard which should be changed with corporate. Just saying! Then we get the food and it was cold, disgusting, missing items, and very disappointing to say the least. Not what we were normally use to. And some will say.... it was Mother’s Day, it was busy! But that should never be an excuse, especially in the food service industry. I work in the hospitality industry and I would seriously be embarrassed at what we were served. As I said, this had nothing to do with the server or the service we were provided, The manager Jay took care of us and made the situation at that moment right, and I greatly appreciate that, but I honestly have to say that if it had been any other day other than Mother’s Day, I might not feel as disappointed, but it will be a while before Bob Evans gets my business again. Especially when there are plenty of small businesses in Sandusky that have better food.

I love bob Evans. It's a wonderful place to have breakfast with your family. It's not only delicious but affordable. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at one of these restaurants. The staff is always friendly. It's never too loud or over crowded. This location is always well kept.

We were seated and waited for 10 min for a server to come. Severs walked past us and staff seen us sitting at the table from the front. No one came. So I asked a lady who was clearing a table if we were going to be served. She didn't know why our server had not come yet, so she stepped up and helped us. Really I would give it only a star, but there was one nice staff member.

Breakfast any time of the day, even at five minutes until closing. I'm sorry. No I'm not. Food was great.
