I generally love Quaker Steak and lube but this location is the worst! We go to castaway bay alot and it's nice to have a restaurant attached to the hotel when you have a large family but we will never eat here again. From now on we Will be venturing out of the hotel. We were there celebrating my daughter's birthday and our horrible dinner almost ruined it for her. The worst employees ever! The only good one was the hostess. As a server myself I was appalled. It was mildly busy but not horrible. We were basically forgotten. We got nothing we asked for. Our food was awful. I ordered a salad that was supposed to have mandarin oranges and they put an actual orange in it so I was choking on seeds! They were out of silverware! Never in my life have I been to or worked at a restaurant that runs out of silverware. So they had to "hunt down" plastic ware for us which took forever in itself. The manager was useless. Just aimlessly wandering around and chatting with staff. Not even checking on customers or helping. I tried reaching out to their customer service department multiple times and nothing. So apparently they don't care about their customers. If your ever out this way do yourself a favor and eat anywhere but here. McDonald's would have been a better choice!

Absolutely love this restaurant! Great vibes, great atmosphere, great food and service! We love this restaurant, the one in our town closed, we visit Sandusky every couple of years and will now make this Quaker Steak and Lube part of our destination list. They have such a variety of sauces, food to please all ages, and great priced drinks as well. Close to cedar point, connected to castaway bay. Great location and our server made the cherry on top!

If you have gluten issues you should avoid. They advertise a "gluten free" menu, but the majority of the items are prepared in common fryers with wheat products. This is in the fine print on their "gluten free" menu. It's misleading. Basically you can have a salad or nachos, which is fine, but it's not quite a "gluten free menu"

Slow service didn't get orders right. Missed some dishes, I think we were too big a group for them to handle. They only initially sent one waitress to serve a group of 30 people. Took over an hour and a half to get food. Food quality was ok. I did enjoy the salad I had. However at first not enough dressing was brought out had to wait on that. Overall ok. Not bad, not great.

Nice looking place with a nice sunset view but that's all I really can say about this place. Our family stayed here at castaway bay for a mini trip and decided to stop by this restaurant cause it was attached to the water park hotel. We had no problem with the service it was just that it took forever to get our food and when we got it was cold or over cooked. I had the ribs and they weren't cheap but I'm not gonna eat rubber and pay for it either. Lol they were very overcooked and we showed the manager to see if he would eat it. Like I said before the service was excellent and that's why I'm giving it a 3 and thats generous only because they listened and discounted everything with no attitude. I should of got the wings, my wife said they were pretty good. Hey at least the beer was cold, that's all that matters 🍻
