I've been going here for years. Great quality of sushi. Service can be a bit slow, but nothing extreme. Would recommend for some good authentic Japanese food

Brilliant, amazing, fantastic, perfect. There really isn’t a word to describe just how special Mei is. Mei is superior in all the specials, ramen, sushi, udon whatever it may be. They are the experts. As a huge ramen head, I’ve tried loads of ramens. Mei has surpassed every previous ramen experience I have had by a mile. The ramen is hot, melts your face off as it should. It is served in a tradition Japanese style and every little part about it is genuine. A taste of Japan itself, Mei has got to be the best ramen I have ever had in Cincinnati to this date. 100/10, 100 stars, absolute perfection and attention to detail.

Mei's in my opinion is the best japanese food in the Cincinnati area with lots of variety in the menu of japanese dishes and sushi. Very kind and helpful staff as well

To come here and not enjoy the ambience before you eat...know that you can have seating with traditional on ground format. Also in rare form but with a minimum charge of 100 dollars you can have your own private room, but you have to call in advance. Do not leave without eating the ramen! Of course the other meals are worth it, and the sushi is fresh.

This place is really nice and super authentic! They have real ramen, not like that packaged stuff you get at the store. My boyfriend got one of the spicy ramen and it was really good. I got the udon and I didn't like it very much but that was my own fault because I forgot that I'm not a fan of the thick, chewy consistency of udon noodles. We got a very nice seat by the window were we could see a small pond with ducks. There were warm towels on the tables to clean your hands and the food was extremely authentic, not Americanized like some restaurants. I really respect traditional style restaurants. I'd say this place is very nice with a great atmosphere. If I had made a better choice when ordering I would have probably rated five stars which is mostly my own fault. I'll give an update next time I good to give a more accurate review. :)
