Weird hours and misogynistic owner. Nasty.

If your going to make it private all the time and have people smoking and gambling inside, put up a permanent sign or something. This place needs to start informing customers and people who are new about what is happening inside. You need to be Greek to be here all the time? I feel judged in a way and can see how other people may feel the same.

We've been to Acropolis twice for dinner and the food was delicious each time. Yummy appetizers and great entrees, things you just can't find elsewhere. It's been a bit quiet in the restaurant the two times we've been there, but you just can't beat their hospitality!

I don't mean to be hyper critical, but I am greek and my family has been in the restaurant business for decades. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I ordered the Smelts, Calamari, Chiken Kabobs and grek style potatoes and a greek coffee. First of all, everything took a long time. The greek coffee was diluted and I paid 2.50 for one small unsatisfying cup. I expected a small pot containing 1 or 2 refills with the small cup, or at least one strong cup. They were out of the smelts, the calamari was overpriced, small portioned with only one lemon. The Chiken kabob meal was ordered for my son. I received only one kabob and some fries. The greek potatoes were supposed to be real potatoes with lemon, oregano and topped with parmasean chease. I received frozen type spiced french fries, with no lemon taste and minimal cheese. I was dissapointed. The interior and decor was pleasant, although they have alot of empty wall space which could be decorated, and the dining music should be greek and not light rock. Overall overpriced and seems the the owner is pinching pennies to save on cost. Hope they fix it soon. I would not like to see this place close due to high prices and being cheap with the food cost. Yasou.
