Seared tuna was excellent! Sides were fresh and delicious. If it wasn’t for the service I would’ve given this 5 stars!! They put me in the corner (I was dining solo) which was actually kind of nice, unfortunately they also forgot they sat me in that corner. Slow on refills and when I asked for the check I waited for more than 10 minutes for the server to come back without my check and then ask if I just wanted him to run the card and bring the itemized receipt. There were only 4 parties in the whole restaurant.

Beautiful building and the food and service was amazing. The food came out in an even pace. Most of the menu was gluten free and they are very careful not to cross contaminate. Bathrooms were clean not well marked to where they were plus down a flight and a half. I do recommend the tomato bisque soup without croutons for gf. Pricey but well worth it.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. Quality, service, and consistency are the hallmarks of Blue Point. Our server Lisa provided a perfectly timed meal with no detail left to chance. Lisa has a strong command of the wine selection as well as the menu. She anticipates every need. We request her when making reservations. The entire service team works in concert. Every time we’ve dined there the GM has been overseeing the front operations, ensuring every detail is attended to and greeting customers. This is not only a great dining experience but also a great example of a highly integrated team. I highly recommend Blue Point!

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at Blue Point today. We hadn't been there since we worked the Cleveland Grand Prix many years ago and it's still wonderful. It's a mixture of atmospheres including the very elegant high ceiling dining room and a cozy bar with booths and a lovely bar. The lunch specials were a little more reasonably priced although still in the business men's lunch price range. I was surprised to see so many tables available. I had the special the day which was risotto with shrimp and asparagus and would have been topped with salmon but I'm not a fan so they politely changed it to grilled shrimp. The only thing strange about the shrimp was that they left the shells on when cooked. Very odd. My husband opted for a lunch special that included a cup of the lobster bisque, a wedge salad, and a catfish slider. He was very happy with all three. One of the things that bothered me a little bit, unless I just didn't see it, was the fact that there didnt seem to be a handicap entrance. There's a step to get in the front door and the restrooms are in the lower level. It's quite possible that there's an elevator and a side entrance but we didn't notice it when we were there. Other than that the area and Blue Point brought back fond memories of years ago.

Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience. However, I appreciate that they were able to accommodate the table request that's why I gave 2 stars and not 1. The food was okay for the price. Our waiter, Mark, was okay. He didn't really want to serve our table. As first time patrons to this restaurant, it would have been nice if he went over the menu. He didn't check on us. Maybe, I'm asking for too much. We didn't even receive a “complimentary” dessert for our special occasion. Not only that, we couldn't even get a thank you and a have good night after he dropped the bill off. Needless to say, I won't be back for okay food and below average service.
