Great local restaurant. The specials are by far the best specials I have ever had at any restaurant! Besides the specials there is great food for the whole family. The food is good and the staff nice the down side it can very busy on weekend. Now 5 stars; why the staff makes it so nice to visit along with the food. If you don't like to eat a lot then share a plate! Update: all the soups are amazing!

First time tonight. Had the Chef's Special. Three (!) pork chops, baked with fresh tomatoes, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. Almost cried when the last bite was gone! Served with sides, salad and rolls. For $8??? Sold!

The staff seemed to be very lost, although very friendly. I was really hoping the food would be a lot better after reading all the reviews. Super slow service. The salad was dripping wet with water. They never gave us any refills. We will definitely not go back there ever again. We were charged for sides they told us would be included with our meals. It was awful. Two stars for the friendly lost staff. 👎🏻 I hope your experience is better than ours. I’ve always felt bad about leaving bad reviews, this is my first.

The Fairborn Family Diner is our families go to place for breakfast and sometimes dinner. They have the best homestyle cooking breakfast menu in the Fairborn Dayton area. Also they have excellent stuffed peppers. The prices are not bad either. I recommend going on a specialty day the food comes out really fast.

No pretenses about this place. A clean environment and good food at a price that won't empty your wallet. A great place for groups or to just sit and have coffee with a friend.
