Great food and even better atmosphere! The inside reminds me of a family owned Italian restaurant in NYC. The patio out back is amazing in the summer! The perfect place to drink wine when the weather is nice. It’s like a little oasis in the middle of the neighborhood. Always really crowded so definitely make a reservation.

Our experience at Basi Italia was out of this world. The staff was AMAZING. Back story, my friend and I were unable to print our concert tickets out and Cait went to her home to help us. Above and beyond is all I can say! The atmosphere is cozy and warm, as if you were at a friends house. People drinking wine, laughing, enjoying the time spent together over delicious dishes of risotto, pasta, short ribs, and fried oysters. Basi Italia is a gem! We can't wait to go back.

This truly was an amazing experience. We've been trying to get in for almost a year but never seem to plan far enough in advance. For Valentine day I booked the reservation almost 2 months out. The space is small and the tables close together but it's absolutely worth it. The staff was so friendly, educated and patient. We ordered from each course and took the time to really savor each one. We were the last ones to leave and not once did they make us feel bad. We love this place and will visit again soon!!

We have no connection or affiliation with this establishment. We just like their food. I have made many trips to Italy and the food at Basi Italia holds up well when compared. This is just good Italian food. If you want an Italian beef sandwich or endless bread sticks, this may not be the place for you. The atmosphere is "nice causal" with an urban vibe. The inside of the restaurant is small, but they have a nice outdoor seating area. During good weather, this is the best place to be (think "summer date night").

Place is cute, service and food we're cool. Sitting at the bar was good accept the view of the trash can and some other clutter. Give it a try. Romantic.
