The atmosphere was good. Lots of people. They have a great beer selection and do beer mixes, albeit very well. Our waiter was very nice. The rating is based on the food. I had the smokey burger. And it was ok. The beef itself didn't have a lot of flavor and it was a little soft in texture (maybe not ground or mashed enough). There was supposed to be a jalapeno relish on it, but I didn't taste it, and very little BBQ. The fries were good. I will be back to check out other items on the menu, but I probably won't have another burger.

Went in on St. Patrick's Day around 2-3 pm, the server didn't even bother to mention the corned beef on the menu (we came there wanting for corned beef); the place was far from busy at the time. There was not one sign mentioning corned beef anywhere and the only mention of corned beef on the menu was in the egg rolls they had for the month of March (the corned beef egg rolls were outstanding, it's the only reason why they get 2 stars) We placed our orders and found out there was a corned beef special shortly afterwards while another server when she was seating the next table and found out we couldn't change our orders when our server decided to visit us 20 minutes later (about 10 minutes after I finished the beverage taken with our drink order). The food wasn't great, maybe it was because the entire kitchen had been prepping for and cooking corned beef the entire day and we were the group that ordered anything but corned beef; but, we really wanted corned beef! I really think this place may have legs and run for decades, if the management actually decides to hire people that understand the industry. I hate saying that our server sucked and that she didn't deserve the tip we left.

Kat is easily the best server I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant in the Lakewood area. Good burgers. Will come back for Kat and the delicious Frenchy Fries!

Always the best food in town, great service and ownership that cares unlike other restaurants in Lakewood. I've been going here for years for the service alone. Would recommend to all walks of life. It's perfect for a family in the dining room or a couple at the bar. Can't say enough good things about this place. If you haven't gone here go, and get the mushroom bisque you won't be sorry!

Came in on one of my visits to town. We were seated immediately and promptly IGNORED for well over a half hour. Many servers made eye contact and passed us. Eventually we left without so much as even knowing who our server was. Never again.
