I’d love to see Jimmy update the decor a little bit, but this restaurant is all about good food. If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch, Jimmy or his top cook will be on premises in the kitchen making it from scratch. We often order food from Jimmy’s to go, or have him cater at our office. Everything he delivers is first rate & on time. The servers are all friendly & helpful.

Really great service and food. Please stay open forever! Love that it's right down the street from home.

Worst part was finding a parking spot. Service is great, coffee is good, food is well displayed and well portioned. The flavor was like a home cooked meal. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a change of pace.

Jimmy's has been our go-to breakfast spot for many years. The food is always fresh and delicious. Service is attentive and friendly. Jimmy routinely comes out from the kitchen to check on the guests. Best diner around!

This is a great little place in downtown Painesville a couple doors down from Nemeth's Lounge and Gartman's Bakery (which might help you find it if you are familiar with the area). Jimmy's has been in business for around 10 years, but I never knew about it until I was browsing Google reviews last summer. We have gone to Jimmy's for breakfast or lunch quite a few times since then and have been very happy with the food and service. The interior is like a simple family restaurant or diner and is very clean. The menu has a variety of items - from breakfast foods to salads, sandwiches, and burgers. My favorites are the omelets and the BLT. The prices are very reasonable. Give this place a try!
