You may find some older reviews that give this a lower rating, but my understanding from the locals is that it has changed hands and the new owners are committed to really making this a quality dining experience. I got a steak which was perfectly prepared and the sides were excellent. Very pleasant staff. There is a full bar which is slightly removed from the main area and this is probably nice for everyone. Nice quiet environment to go with friends.

Very good value. I thought the dishes were very good, the wife maybe not as much. Huge servings of meat. Super fancy presentations of overpriced small portions of exotic foods and sauces this is not. Authentic. The name says it all. To stay fit, eat 1/4 and take the rest home to cover dinner for the next 3 days. Good prices on mixed drinks. Get a driver. Enjoy.

This is an Excellent Restaurant to go to. I was Extremely Pleased with Everything!!! As a former server in the restaurant industry I must say that this restaurant by far exceeds all expectations in all areas of service, food, cleanliness, & atmosphere. Prices were compatible with our restaurants, but portions & timing of each course of the meal were Perfect!!! One Extra Special Thank You to our: 1.Server, "Kelsey", for all of her attentiveness, knowledge, & over all pleasantness. 2.Bartender, for going beyond & working as a team player to insure my "crown & coke" was not watered down when it arrived, while Kelsey was getting our main course. 3.Chef, for making the most perfect medium to medium well Prime Rib I have ever had; I am probably 1 of the most pickiest of people when it comes to my steaks & this genuinely was a most welcoming experience to have. I could not have made it any better, even if I had a wish granted & filled to the upmost perfection. Thank You, Sir. You are by far an Excellent Chef!!! Lastly, but by far not the least of all, this is our 10th year Wedding Anniversary, & while none of the staff knew it, it was the Best Anniversary Meal & Experience My Husband & I had. Thank You, All Associates of Steer Barn & Owners. ***To the Owner: You should know Our Experience Tonight Set A Very High Bar to Beat, We will be back. Thank You!!!

Absolutely fantastic food!! My partner and I both enjoyed the Prime Rib 😋 The only issue we experienced was that we were seated for 14 min before a server came to our table. We had a reservation for 6 pm on Saturday, April 14th 2018. Other than that one thing, everything else was amazing!!

I have to say that I'm torn with this restaurant. I really really loved their steaks. They were deliciously tender and flavorful. My steak was cooked perfect. The thing I didn't like is that I can't stand the hard toast points that they give you instead of a nice roll that you can enjoy. I felt like I was eating a brick. Then their "relish tray" freebie. It's not really free. You are paying for it in a way and for those of us like me that don't like anything on the relish tray I feel like I am getting my money taken from me for something I'm not even eating. So this is why I am torn.... Great steak and potato, but the price ( $100 check for just my husband and I and neither of us had alcohol) and the so called inedible freebies. Well I've not been back since. I guess if you like the toast points and relish tray than you would be quite happy here. I just know that I can go to Brown Derby Roadhouse in Ontario (Mansfield) and feed a group of 8 (3 kids) with LEFTOVERS for around the same price.
