The Wooster Inn is off the north side of the COW campus. The pub is located in the basement of the Inn. This feels like a hole in the wall place to spend time with friends and family and have a wonderful meal. The food is unique for the area and the staff is very attentive. Always a great time!

We used The Wooster Inn as our wedding venue, and we could not have been happier! The campus is kept up beautifully and feels both comfortable and professional. The restaurant is clean, the food is amazing, and the staff is never anything but pleasant. Planning a wedding in particular can be incredibly stressful, but Ken and his staff eliminated everything stressful about the planning experience. All expectations were made clear upfront, all prices and costs were disclosed prior to billing, and the execution of the plan that we worked out together was flawless. The staff made sure that the chairs were set up for the wedding ceremony, the site (the outside patio under the tents) was clean, and our guests never had to wait for food and beverages. All we had to do was show up and decorate before the event. The detail that I was most impressed with was that everyone on staff on the evening of our wedding was smiling. Some of the servers were singing along to the music, and the overall atmosphere was fun and lighthearted. No one seemed like they didn't want to be there, and I never felt like I was inconveniencing anyone - even as they helped us clean up and collect our things as the event came to a close. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose The Wooster Inn in a heartbeat!

My niece had her wedding there, it was simply beautiful! The staff was great! The hospitality was exceptional, very accommodating to our needs. The food was superb. It's was hot, presentation was pleasing to the eyes. The venue itself was nice and clean, something that I really pay close attention to while dining out. The atmosphere was pleasant so that was helpful with us having a wonderful time. Couldn't have been a better experience! Thanks

I stayed there for two nights. I was told to arrive at check in but my room was not ready. OK, I waited 30 minutes to get into the room. The room smelled (seemed to be coming from the rug). The heating system had no directions on how to adjust the temperature (it was February and not so warm outside). I asked about how to turn it on and they gave me vague directions about a dial on the side. When I looked there was a small silver box that had a dial under it, but I could not see what the dial said or which way to turn it to adjust the heat. I played around with it, and after a few hours, the temperature adjusted. The problem at night is that the curtains cover the vent that blows out the hot hair, so you can either have open curtains and warm air, or warm air behind the curtains (mostly going out the window). The food at the Inn was greasy and had no flavor. I know this is Ohio, but come on, spices can be shipped to the midwest. he wifi was spotting throughout and often cut in and out. That night I returned to the Inn and I could not get into the building. My keycard didn't work. I walked around the building and finally found a door that was slightly ajar (not so safe, and again, this is February, so not so efficient). After walking around in the dark hallways I finally found my way to the lobby where there was no staff. I didn't hear or see anyone this evening and searched as much of the building as I could to find someone. No one was found. I made my way up to my room where I found an envelop taped to my door with a keycard to my room inside (so, that's great, because anyone could have used that to get into my room). The envelop also had a note apologizing for not giving me this "new" card that would let me into my room and hence they taped it to the door. (Too bad they didn't account for the fact that my "old" keycard--which still worked on my room btw--didn't let me into the building in the first place. If that back door had not been ajar I guess I would have had to look up some numbers to call to and hope that someone would come and let me inside and out of the 20 degree weather. The next morning breakfast was not served and no one seemed to care. I checked out early just to get out of there and find some food and be on my way home. If it's not clear, I don't recommend.
