Had a wonderful evening! Got the last table open on the bar side. Greeted promptly. Food came out hot and delicious. Piano player kept my feet tapping all night. And the manager stopped by occasionally to check on things. Can't wait for it to warm up again so we can try out that patio!

First off, some of Othello's food is one of my wife and I's places we like to frequent since moving to Norman and we have previously enjoyed the sit down restaurant side of the store. But today we decided to take the free hour we had to go and get some food while listening to a friend's band on the bar side. After sitting down and 20 minutes of no one stopping to give us a menu I walked over to the restaurant side of the store to kindly ask why we haven't been served the host apologized saying that the bar tender should have notified her but had not done so. 10 minutes later a waiter finally came over to ask us what we would like. So we asked about the wait on a pepperoni pizza. He informed us it would be 25-30 minutes. Which meant we would be getting our food right as we had to leave. We told him that we didn't have time and he apologized and went on his way. Everyone was very kind about the mix up but it was over all a disappointing experience. I would recommend staying away from the bar.

Othello's has a great atmosphere. It's never too crowded or noisy, but always lively. The staff has always been friendly and polite. Good Italian food, I would recommend their garlic bread and spaghetti. The best dish I ever had was their triple chocolate fudge cake... easily the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Go there just for that, if you want! Drinks are pretty good too... they do a mean bellini (both peach and strawberry are good). They do trivia night on Wednesdays which is why I started going to Othello's and I always have a good time.

Wonderful quant little place. Great Italian food and delicious drinks. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Our server was wonderful as well.

I tried this restaurant on a recommendation of a friend, and it was an ok experience. Reason I say ok is the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. The bad part about this was the food, after waiting a reasonable amount a time me and my buddy received our food and the first thing I smell before taking a bit was the sauce and it smelled like paint thinner. I brushed it off and ate my spaghetti, and so did my buddy who had he chicken. Wasn't until afterwards that he told me the chicken tasted a bit odd/old and we regretted our decision, as we did not have a pleasant time afterwards. I don't know if the sauce was a one time, but I won't be recommending this place.
