First time here. The place is huge. The food was great. We had the fajitas, which were the special of the day. They were great. Tried both the chicken and the beef and they will not disappoint. Definitely coming back. You have to come here.

I liked this restaurant. It reminded me of being at a Casa Bonita which I always enjoyed. The entire staff was extremely friendly, but what I really took notice of was what hard workers they were Not only hard workers, but very pleasant while doing so. There was one server who had his arm pointed straight with six plates of food perfectly lined on it to distribute to the customers. I wish I took a picture of him while doing because he was remarkable! The next time I am in Stillwater I look forward to going back there. El Vaquero is fun with good food that will appeal to people of all ages.

Good food, great portions, fair prices. Homemade. Authentic. Friendly service. Fast. Fun atmosphere Able to park on main road and accessible by semi truck. Definitely worth a stop. One of the must tries in the Stillwater area.

Good Mexican food and service in a large space. Great for large groups or even to celebrate a birthday. Several birthdays this evening which always adds some fun. You get a rousing round of happy birthday sung by the servers, with the birthday person in the festive sombrero! Lunch specials and a bar make this a good place for lunch or dinner. The dining area is large enough that even when they are busy it's a short wait.

Great little Mexican place, I went here with my 94 year old grandmother as it's right by where she lives. It's apparently pretty popular. The food was really good and the queso was amazing!
