Went for our 25th anniversary. Service was AWESOME and the food was exceptional. Cozy atmosphere. Tuscany style dinning. Can't wait to go back.

It's difficult to rate Coquina. The food is delicious, service excellent but the portions are way to small. No rice, no soup, no salad with your entre. I thought that was odd. So I give four stars but eat a good lunch before having dinner at Coquina.

Fantastic! We went there on a Thursday night and loved it so much we went back on Saturday. It is now our favorite restaurant in Ashland. The interior is pleasing, the service was exceptional and the food OMG! We started the first meal sharing the artichoke soup. It was one of the best soups I've ever had. When we went back, we had to have our own. Both the beet salad and the carrot salad were wonderful. Although the brussel sprouts and the corn flan were both good, they weren't my favorites. Some people have complained that the servings are small. We found the appetizers and salad portions to be normal size. The portion of brussel sprouts with potatoes was huge.We had the duck, steak and scallop entrees. I loved both the duck and scallops. They were on the small side, but delicious. I didn't care much for the steak, but I'm not a steak eater. My partner seemed to like it. The complexity of flavors and textures in the dishes put this restaurant far above the others we've tried in Ashland and we are foodies that have been coming to Ashland for 37 years. Brava to the chef and staff!

The day we ate here we had driven directly from Santa Cruz California, and were Craving the quiet and the healthy beautiful food they promise. We were told they could get us right in, and they did. After walking through a nearly empty interior dining room, we were seated in the lovely back garden, right next to the only other table occupied, (when six others were available). After such a long drive we only wanted cold salads and entrees, so after ordering them all quite quickly we expected to be served quickly as well, alas, no. Our drinks, a beer and a prosecco, arrived 20 minutes later (?) and another 45 minutes after that our three starter beet salads arrived. Oddly, after an hour of waiting, the 'cold' salads were warm, miniscule, and had mushrooms. We had ordered the cold polenta and cold tomato entrees, which after -get this!- Another 50 minutes and queries from both my husband and myself , in person , away from our table, to the waiter who was lounging at the front bar, our food arrived. Also strangely warm. We had promised our daughter dessert, so had very very reluctantly ordered it when our salads arrived and were blown away when they actually delivered our check, sans dessert. No apologies were made, no acommodation for the service or the attitudes, and no we will not return. Ever.
