This is just a copy and paste from my Yelp page, but it's just as relevant. We have been here a couple of times with less than stellar results, but returned because we know some places can have good days and bad days. Today was final chance. Our server would have been a lot better had he not adjusted himself and scratched his crotch while taking our orders. Not the best move for solid customer service. I should have taken hint and left, but instead stayed for the fish and chips. Surely 350 degree oil could kill whatever he was scratching at, right? I guess not as I could only stomach 1/4 of my meal and ended up in a local parking lot vomiting the rest up shortly thereafter. I don't recommend the place. Try McDonald's for better fish and fries.

Service was good. The staff was so kind I really liked the girl at the register. She was super kind and a Californian native too. She made me feel real at home and safe. It was cool. The wait service had their money made out for them. The got a good review card from my friend so that's nice.

Service was good, food was good, but the manager seems really abusive of his employees. Someone knocked over some crayons while the manager was guiding us to our seats, and he said "this better be your only mistake" to the employee picking up the crayons. I've worked in some pretty high octane kitchens and done good hearted snippy banter with my coworkers, but there was no respect in the way that this manager talked to his employees, and it made me and my girlfriend really uncomfortable. We wanted to just leave but didn't want to miss the opportunity to tip the server. I can't believe there's such a negative and mean person behind running a place I have good childhood memories of.

This Mo's chowder tasted like Mo's of old. This was the first time in a while that I ordered the clam chowder because it just hasn't been that great (at other Mo's). But we (family) had good tasting food and service and the view of the Columbia was pleasant. Our daughter spilled some water and the servers promptly came over and helped clean up and made her feel as it was not a problem. Definitely will be on the places to eat when visiting again.

This new location in Astoria is wonderful! Spacious, airy, & well designed. We all had the 3 way Shrimp special. It was delicious and the serving was very generous. Also had a cup of fantastic chowder that was chock full of clam meat! Definitely will be back!
