I loved this place! After spending $90 for a few drinks and mediocre calamari at another Bend spot (a hotel that wasn't even downtown), Zydeco Kitchen seemed like a dream. We had a couple of drinks each, a shared appetizer, and an entree each and still paid less than $100 before tip. Our waitress, Katie, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and professional. The service was great, the food was fantastic, the drinks were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable for such a restaurant in downtown Bend. This will be my go-to when in Bend.

Generally love this place but tonight got crazy delayed with a reservation. Reservation made for 6:30, weren't seated until 7:15. Staff were all very nice but 45 minute wait with reservation is insane. Couldn't tell when the group that had our table was seated, maybe just a case of a group that wouldn't leave. Offer of free flat bread for our wait was nice. Will definitely try again to see if this was just unlucky.

Our server, Hannah, was spectacular!! She made my brother's birthday dinner celebration extra ordinary! The mussels with clams were delicious and the broth was marvelous. My brother enjoyed the duck. My sister-in-law and I enjoyed our Mama G's steak salads with nice chunks of blue cheese were impressive. The carrot cake dessert was scrumptious!

After growing up in downtown Bend, I have been a little sad to see how downtown has become so upscale. At times even snobby. Our experience at Zydeco was AMAZING! It it what Bend has always been about! THE BEST SERVICE! Great food in a beautiful setting. But the servers were all wonderful, friendly and so down to earth! Our new favorite place to eat!!!

A couple of Memphians and Texans give this place four thumbs up as the salad, steak and appetizers (all of them) are above par! We tried multiple, local beers that were just absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly, offering detailed suggestions of food and drink. We all left this place in a happy discomfort and will definitely return if we ever travel that way again!
