My favorite restaurant. Love everything about it, but especially the food. Wow. So consistent, and always amazing. You will never be disappointed with the Margherita pizza and Caesar salad. If you have room, top it off with Gianni's Tiramisu. In addition, La Perla has excellent service. Never a long wait time for food. I like how you can see the kitchen, and love the brick oven fireplace. Truly adds to the atmosphere. For those of you who love pizza, please be aware, this is not American style, greasy pizza. This is authentic Napoleon style pizza. One of a kind, and made with the freshest sauce and house made mozzarella. DELICIOUS!!! So glad La Perla is in Eugene. Might I also add, my 4 year old and 2 year old always eat at La Perla! The waitresses and waiters have been very kind to my children even providing them with pizza dough to play with before dinner arrives!

I went to La Perla in early May around 1pm, thinking about getting lunch in the area. I looked inside the window and didn't see anyone at the register or seated at the tables, so I wondered if the place was closed. While debating whether or not to go across the street for barbeque, a biker, several pedestrians, and two cars pulled up. They gathered on the sidewalk and grass, with one man sitting on the concrete curb (looked to be a Pokemon Go raid or something). Less than ten minutes later, an old man that looked to be a dressed as a manager emerged from the back of the building and shouted at a parked car loudly enough that I could hear it from a quarter of a block away. When I came around to see what was going on, the manager had brought out a hose and sprayed a man and his bike, claiming to "need to water the plants." It was drizzling on and off from late morning through to that moment. At the sight of such horrendous treatment to innocent and non-disruptive bystanders, I opted to take my business elsewhere. I give La Perla one star for it's location. The smell of the steakhouse across the street is incredibly appealing.

The food is fantastic and it is authentic Italian. The pizza is the best I've had in 30 years and well worth what the price. The service is friendly and attentive and the servers know and can explain the menu very well. And be sure to leave room for dessert it should not be missed. I will definitely go back.

I lived in northern Italy for 3 years and yes, this are Italian pizzas, not American. I ordered a quattro formagi which was so good! Good thin crust and quality cheese, very tasty. My only disapointment was their dessert selection. They didn't have any house made desserts. The waiter proudly announced that their desserts where all imported from Italy which I interpreted as we have frozen desserts. I can get "imported" desserts from the frozen section of a descent supermarket. A place that prides itself on the quality of their food, should have a dessert menu to match, my visit felt incomplete. All in all, a fantastic place. I gave the restaurant 4 star for not having house desserts, the pizza gets a solid 5 stars.

This restaurant has excellent pizza and salads. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. My favorites are the four cheese and the salad that has oranges and a yogurt dressing.
