Chevys doesn't really serve "Mexican" food. It's sort of like Taco Bell but with better ingredients. With that being said, the service is fine and their happy hour is a pretty good deal. I've always been able to get seated immediately when I come here with friends, but it wouldn't be my first choice for Mexican food. It tends to be a little bland and Americanized. Be warned that the happy hour drinks are mostly flavoring and very, very short on alcohol.

Food was fairly good. I loved the corn tomalito, and the enchiladas were great too. Restaurant was very cold. Edit: as I got a response from the store here letting me know they planned to fix the only issue I had (my wife and I were almost shivering with our jackets on), I will give them the full 5 stars. Awesome to see them paying attention!

I never leave reviews, but the food here was NOT worth it. Our shrimp smelled very fishy, guess we will see if we have food poisoning shortly. The beans and rice tasted like it was chilli from a can and Uncle Ben's microwavable rice. The macaroni looked like Kraft but tasted worse. The chicken fingers were incredibly dry and my child choked multiple times. And my son's pizza was very rubbery. The server was trying to hurry us out and never came to ask if he could refill our drinks but rather if we needed boxes and if he could bring the kids' sundaes out yet (they weren't even half finished). He then told us to let him know and brought them on his own time anyway. Our check was $60(before tip), and my husband and I shared. We will never be back.

It had been about 5 years since I last visited Chevys & it was better than i remembered. I had the fajita burrito with carnitas & it was delicious. $3 for a little side of guacamole is a bit spendy but still enjoyed it. We decided to share a deep fried ice cream--which was tasty but not as exciting as one of my friends said it would be....even she thought it was different than she remembered. All in all we had a great time and we will be back next time we are in that area.
