We stopped in to a new restaurant in Lincoln City last night. The Tequila Blue Agave Mexican restaurant on Highway 101. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the sea food fajita. They cut a pineapple in half and grilled it, then hollowed it and filled it with lobster, shrimp, chicken and pork with onions and peppers. So tasty. Loved it.

We just moved here and we're trying the restaurants. Oh, wow - we'll be back to this one often! I had the enchiladas with mole sauce. This was THE BEST mole sauce I've had anywhere! I told our server how much I loved it, and she said, "It's my aunt's recipe." This is authentic - not out of a jar, like some restaurants. The people who work here were all very nice. The place is clean, with an open floor plan. Prices were right in line with what you'd expect. Enjoy!

Food was OK but bland. 3 sauces with the chips and none with flavor. Even guacamole very bland. Needs jalapeno or green chile and cumin. Shrimp fajitas very fresh and well prepared but again, no seasoning. Chips were institutional at best. Atmosphere stark with nothing to dampen noise. Just a big dining hall. Oh, and no liquor license yet so not even a beer to be had. Might give it another try when they've been open a few months longer and have the liquor license.

Friendly service but the food was not great, especially for the price. Mango margarita was yummy and tasted fresh but was weak! We had 2 each before the appetizer arrived (food took a while) and neither felt a buzz. We ordered the special pineapple fajitas which were pricey and tasted burnt.

I usually like this place but this evening it did not meet the standards. Food was great but service was very poor. The server got my order wrong and she was to busy talking/ flirting withe the young man that was serving drinks. She never came to the table to see how everything was or even brought my tab to me. I had to go to the counter to ger it. She asked how everything was and I told her I had better service there before. She rolled her eyes and said whatever. I eat there quite often but I doubt I will be back after that.
