Hopes were high, fell a little short. Easy to spot, interior is well decorated. Friendly waitstaff. Most of the Food was below par. We had the rib plate, half pound brisket, and pork shoulder plate. Brisket was above average good. Ribs & pork shoulder were disappointing. The cold smoked oyster shooters were very good.

Great food great service. Had the ribs the first time and they were fantastic. Had the friend chicken the second time. We'll cooked. But, the use of cinnamon in the breading/batter was a bit strong for my taste. Service was all smiles and attentive without being overbearing.

Iceberg cocktail and iceberg salad are both my favorite. Their hush puppies is one of the best ones I ever had, friendly stuff always have good services. We normally order fried chicken plate includes 2 sides. Their sides are just as good as everything else. Fries, polenta, the Mac n chess are three of the sides we order the most! The price is a little higher than other restaurants but it’s totally worth it! Highly recommend this place!

Definitely a good find. Service was excellent! Food was very close to home cooking. Mac and cheese was an excellent choice for a side. Ribs were tender and tasty. Maybe a little fatty, but I'm sure that varies for obvious reasons. Give it a try. You'll feel right at home!

This place was so great. The service was really good and I love the feel of the space. It was easy to find street parking right nearby and it wasn't too busy. The food was amazing. Their mac and cheese is so good. Loved their pickles and their hush puppies. I had the ribs and they were tender and delicious, but were made even better with the sweet, spicy, tangy Carolina style vinegar sauce. Will definitely be going back!
