Happy hour all day Sunday! What a great place to enjoy the view while visiting town and grab some drinks and food. I enjoyed the pale ale on tap for happy hour, the friendly service and the view. For the standard of the restaurant or food industry, the bathroom needed much attention. Smelly and toilet paper and stalls messy.

The Happy Hour is the greatest around. Great drinks, wonderful food and great prices are the typical recipe for an outstanding happy hour. They have the best views in all of Portland, Oregon here! They are also amazing at handling the finest of occasions for any party size! Don't overlook this! It's the shining gem of Portland!

Overpriced. Food is mediocre at even half the price. Used to be good, but slowly became inconsistent... then just bad most of the time... then they raised their prices. The only reason to go here is the view. But don't expect a window seat if you're coming up past 4pm. Come for lunch in the middle of the week for best views and $5 wine glass pours. They have a long happy hour (4-7pm and then 9pm-close), but there's only a few things that are worthwhile - come early cause the quality of the happy hour food decreases exponentially as it progresses. Happy hour bites you should order: Steelhead is by far best bite and value... Jambalaya, Chicken Noodle Bowl can be decent. The staff is pretty phenomenal though - that would be the biggest reason I return. 5 star staff, but prices and food quality deserve zero stars.

Always an excellent time! When people visit from out of town, this is where I usually send them first. Best service, great food, and the best view in Portland. I had the pork with a mustard sauce and it was deliciously sweet, yet had a nice kick toward the end. Pom martini was just right, not too sweet, and not all sticky and gross. The corn chowder was epic. Always recommend Portland city grill! It's a classic

We have been to Portland City Grill numerous times over the years and tonight we were not impressed what-so-ever! We made reservations for a birthday celebration and in the past they have always decorated the table and really just made the person celebrating feel special. Tonight however, nothing was decorated and they didn't even give a little birthday dessert! As for the service, our waitress was okay. The food was good, but I ordered my steak "well done" and by the time I got to the middle, it was far from that! We have always loved coming here, but we will think twice next time before making a decision on a restaurant! We feel the service should be much better for the price we pay to go there!
