We've been coming here for over 7 years, and have always been treated well here. The food is good and they have a wide variety on the regular menu. The happy hour prices and food selections are excellent as well, and it's nice you don't have to buy an alcoholic drink to get the happy hour prices. Something like a soda will do. It's also nice that the afternoon happy hour last out into the regular dining room, so if you have kids and want some of the happy hour food you can come between 3 and 6 and still have happy hour in the main dining room. The bar has a nice Western Dive Bar feel, and I actually like it. There's peanuts to snack on while you wait, and the bartenders have always been polite to us. A few times they've been understaffed and a bit slow with refills, but it's never really bothered us. They've always made an effort to treat us right. We enjoy the service and the food there, and perhaps that's why we keep coming here year after year.

Way too crowded, and subsequently, understaffed. There were only two people working and while they both did a phenomenal job keeping up with the flow of customers, it was two wait staff too few. This place used to be a great out-of-the-way hole-in-the-wall dive bar, that unfortunately, like so many other great little hidden gems, is now packed to the rafters because of the hundred and eleven people that moved to Portland every day. Please, for the life of God, move somewhere else. The thing that made Portland so great was that we were weird cool and empty. We're no longer any of those things

been coming here since i could walk, it used to be one of my family's absolute favorite breakfast places. has gone downhill a little, especially since their remodel. new seating layout is... uncomfortably open, and rather boring looking compared to the booths that used to be. food has dropped in quality in a noticable way, portions are getting much smaller and just don't taste quite as good as they used to. staff are still friendly, and i believe they can definitely fix any problems they are having - will still be coming here, but less often. i miss the old atmosphere!

This is one of my favorite places to go when my wife meets me for lunch so my impressions are soley for this time of day. It's never crowded and the friendly efficient wait staff never lets my coffee cup empty. I've tried several selections but more and more have been choosing the chicken Caesar salad. It's not drowning in dressing and there's a generous amount of chicken. The only criticism I have is that the temperature is on the cool side.
