Stopped for a late lunch. The reviews had us wondering, but we decided to try it anyway and were glad we did. Wife had the crab roll and oyster stew. Lots of crab and loved the stew. I had the halibut fish and chips. I decided for the first time in many years to try clam chowder and was pleasantly surprised. Nice and thick like I like and only two clams were overcooked. The halibut was good and the fries qood. Prices were decent for the area as were the portions. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving at the wait to be seated sign, after the couple in front of us. Water was promptly delivered but it took a while to get our order taken. It also took a little time before the food was served, but there was only the one waitress, quite pleasant and friendly even though she was constantly on the move trying to serve everyone. There was a constant stream of people and the waitress focused on serving everyone rather than clearing tables but there was always a place cleared and ready for the next group somehow. When someone wanted her attention or to be seated, she always answered with a smile even if she had to say "be right with you in a minute." We're going back next time we're in Garibaldi.

We were not happy with this place. We didn't realize that we had tried it before and didn't care for it. First, it smells old and rancid. You get a waitress with an attitude and not interested to make sure everything is okay. The place was not busy either visit. But you would have believed she was too overworked. When I have to keep asking for refills on a $2.50 cup of coffee, it becomes ridiculous! I expect you to pay attention when you have nothing better to do than sit. There's a serious problem that the management cares not to fix at this place. OIf course, I WAS only a tourist

We stopped here for chowder. Other folks said the prices were high, but not really. Remember the coastal restaurants pay more for supplies. The view of northern Tillamook Bay was fantastic and we had clam chowder and oyster stew for lunch and found that the $9 bread bowls were well worth the money. I loved the fresh pepper mills on the tables and our waitress was charming. It isn’t award winning food but doesn’t pretend to be. Just a solid choice for lunch.

Very sweet view. Being seated took a while tho not too busy but it was a super nice experience. Been told it's pricey but for the type of establishment that it is and the type of food and atmosphere offered I did not find it to be over priced. It's a little pricey but better than red lobster and you would pay those prices there. You can't expect McDonald's prices at a place this classy.

The one star that I gave is for the service. no seasoning on the steak, Cajun halibut was severely over cooked ,dinner salad was lettuce onion and 1 beet. no vegetables instead you are given a small piece of tasteless melon. I do give kudos to the garlic mashed potatoes. I think they came from a box. This meal was a total wast of money. I do need to say though that my dog really enjoyed it.
