The food was delicious/affordable and the service was friendly. We came in a little after lunch and so some of the meat pies (we opted for the vegan options) had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. They weren't super hot, but weren't soggy and were very tasty. The borscht came out hot and, while a smidge bland, was flavorful and tasty; the hot sauce on the table was a blessing! We also got a free glass of their homemade kombucha-like drink; very good! We got three pies, a big bowl of borscht, and a huge slice of homemade baklava, all for under 20 bucks! (I recommend the mushroom pie!) Don't be scared away by the unassuming exterior or the fact that food is served on paper plates. Definitely worth the stop!

Great tasting authentic food. The staff is friendly, and happy to answer questions. Everything is affordably priced and very delicious. If you want to try something new and delicious then I highly recommend coming here. They even have sweet desserts in the morning.

It was my first time trying Russian food. This is a small family owned business. The food and the service was great! I specially liked the cabbage wraps. I would definitely pay them a visit again.

We choose 7 different items and everyone of them was well made and delicious. The spicy sauce on the table was hot and perfect. We hadn't ever tried kambucha and it was delightful. Coffee and tea are free here!

Great price and very authentic! My husband and I decided to get a few things and share them but nearly came to blows over the chicken and cheese blini. Word of the wise, get your own. The cabbage roll was tender and the mushroom peroji flavorful. The young lady helping us at the counter was very nice and patient with our questions since we hadn’t much experience with Russian cuisine.
