I was utterly disgusted tonight. I was halfway through my glass of water when I saw the foil top of a butter packet stuck to the side of the INSIDE of the glass. Shortly thereafter, all of the servers were freaking out over some critter that was walking around the kitchen. A couple of them jumped onto the booth bench in horror. There wasn't even an attempt to be discreet. It was wither a cockroach or a mouse. Then, as I was paying the bill, my wife told an older woman at the register (appeared to be a manager or owner) how upset and repulsed her husband was by the butter packet incident. Instead of apologizing, or offering a gift certificate, or maybe a partial comp of tonight's bill, she simply said, "I'll have to get on the dishwasher about that one". I'm new to the Lehigh Valley (from Philly). I married into a great family in Allentown. It appears Ritz Barbecue is some kind of tradition up here. Trust me... I'll pass. Never again!

Horrible experience. Flies and insects around the restaurant and the food had a bad blan taste.

A blast from the past. Iconic little hideaway.

Poor service, filthy conditions... also when we went to pay our bill we saw what the kitchen looks like and it was so disgusting I thought I was going to throw up the food I just ate. There is absolutely no reason for that they’re obviously is no health board in Allentown

Ham BBQ was delish. Stood no chance staying alive. Pork BBQ not so much dry and tasted like turkey.
