The decor is upscale, bright and comfortable. We had dinner with friends that have dietary restrictions and the chef was more than accommodating. All the dishes they were served were not only delicious but beautifully presented. Would rate this restaurant five star.

I have very good experience with the Phoenix before, but this meal was not up to par for the price. Waitress was very good. Meal wasn't at the same level. Beet and goat cheese salad missed goat cheese. Flat iron steak was tough. No problem getting a seat as the place was empty. Might been just a bad night.

Restaurant features a wide ranging menu with great prime rib, seafood and desserts and complimentary fried seasoned pasta and salt crusted warm bread. I'd recommend reservations for Friday and Saturday dinner when it's the most busy. Renovated a few years ago. Great updated menus and atmosphere. Always an excellent meal, one of the best in Altoona. Located in an odd residential area of Altoona. Use GPS!
