RAW COLD YOLK I write very few reviews and even less negative reviews. i was even hesitant to post this but i can not strike this particular meal from my mind even though it was weeks ago. i left breakfast disappointed, which has never happened to me at a diner :( It was not very clean or inviting. once i was noticed sitting no more than a few feet away from the cashier (who ignored me for a few minutes whilst finishing a newspaper article) at an almost empty counter before delivering me a menu. the staff seemed distracted and bothered but nice to my face. i had basically the equivalent of a grand slam.. the waffle was half BURNT half UNCOOKED, the cheap syrup covered its vessel and anchored it firmly to the sticky and (somehow at the same time) greasy counter. the over easy eggs were very easy... no one wants a COLD RAW YOLK! coffee was bitter and thin similar to a twice used teabag but i will leave on a good note. the rye toast was good. i really hope they were collectively having an off day. it was the first and probably last time ill be a customer : \ just go to the cycle cafe for people who actually like serving customers and are passionate about there menu. (i am not affiliated with cycle cafe located next to gato )
