Enjoyed a "FIRE IN THE HOLE" burger yesterday! Really GOOD and I loved the steer skull and old barn wood decor! Check out the photos that I posted on Google Maps.

First time here. Went for a late lunch on a Saturday (2pm) with the family. We we promptly seated and the restaurant was fairly empty (a few tables were occupied). The menu is pretty small. I ordered a Bison burger, my wife order the mac and cheese (minus the bacon) and the kids ordered mac 'n cheese and chicken fingers from the kids menu. Also ordered a side of Parmesan fried since the burger does not come with fries. None of us were impressed by our meals. The burger was nothing impressive. Small, not bad tasting, but for $13.50, it could of at least come with the fries (Even the build your own burgers will set you back roughly this price). The mac and cheese for the adult and children's menu was the same size. No one ate it since the kitchen uses a weird kind of cheese (very tangy - described as BRGR's "cheese whiz") and so it was a real turn off for my child. I tried it and did not like it either; although I do love many different types of sharp cheeses. The chicken fingers were just frozen fingers put in the fryer. The fries were standard - good but nothing great. We all had water to drink, so a $45 lunch bill was ridiculous considering what we got. The server was the bartender (I'm assuming because it was pretty slow at this time of day) and I had to walk over to the bar to ask for refills since he was paying attention to the sports game on tv. Nothing great about BRGR for how much of a fuss is made in Pittsburgh about it. You would get a better burger and meal at a place like Five Guys. We won't be back and I do not recommend this place.

I hosted a party of 6 tonight at your location in the Galleria Mt Lebanon We arrived at 8 and had no problem getting a table. We were seated and then it took 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge that we were there Finally we had a server come and take a drink order. We ordered Chips for the table which was fine 15 mins later the drinks finally came. I had been raving to my guests how good your food was The server took our food orders and all was good Two of the women ordered salads and 4 ordered burgers and either fries or Mac and Cheese When the food came out 3 of the 4 burgers were cooked wrong and the Mac and cheese had no taste whatsoever They took the 3 burgers back and redid them and when the new ones came out they were all still wrong. The med rare was well The med well was rare and they were all different meats. One was dry age and some were other types I had been raving to my guests who had never been how good your food was and was never so embarrassed The mac and Cheese had no cheese taste at all and was awful The manager came over after the second attempt and said they would take the burgers off of the bill which in 1 case they did and 2 they didn't. The point is I am not sure what is going on in your restaurant but I can tell you that I will not be back because the food was not good and my check for 2 was $65 before tip and to spend that for a bad burger is not in my cards. 'I can get a great burger elsewhere cooked to my liking with a lot lesser price tag I eat out all of the time and in my opinion you need to look at the quality of help you have in this location and also your chef Its a great place but we were there tonight at 8 PM and the place was not busy which tells me something Just want to let you know that I will never be back to eat at your establishment until you all get your act together

Family friendly environment. Not an inexpensive dinner, though.

We, a group of 4 arrive, the place is mostly empty and we find ourselves a table and sit down. Shortly thereafter the hostess shows up and says something like this: "Just to let you know, we don't do self seating here, except for the bar. It's OK this time because it's not busy". That just pissed us off right from the start and we decided right then and there that we weren't going to eat here and instead went upstairs. I'm thinking the hostess is a control freak and that was probably more important than doing her job. A better message would have been "hi, welcome to brgr, your server will be right with you..." also: didn't like the annoying teenager music and that the menu has not much variety other than burgers.
