So I’m 10+ years experience in the restaurant industry - my mother is an executive chef by trade and im from good ol NYC the MECCA of Italian food. Mind you we are in North east PA - lol take this how you want it. I gave this 3 stars for a few reasons First the service was near perfect and Nicole was a great and kind server. Our plates and silverware had water spots, this just means the silverware needed to be shined with soda water before placed at the table / food for thought The dinner rolls were burnt at the bottom. That’s the beginning. Thenbutter was ice cold and couldn’t be spread. We ordered two bottles of wine and one they didn’t have in stock so of course they upsold me, gotta say the wine was a bit pricy for north east PA and especially considering the bottles weren’t even corked but a twist off top. Usually lesser expensive wines feature a twist off top. My mother said the meatballs and spaghetti lacked taste she used a ton of salt and pepper and didn’t finish her food I ordered a chicken parm that for $20 had one piece of chicken and I kid you not 20 pieces of rigatoni lol cmon guys could you cut corners some more? The cheese was some kind of weird blend with yellow cheese mixed in - never had it like this and wasn’t a fan, the sauce was sweet - like sugar in the sauce. The heart burn is knocking at my door haha - the cutler was really thin and perfectly cooked though! My fiancé got broccoli Raab and added shrimp- they brought the meal auction style (which was strange for one of the “nicer” spots in town) her meal came with no shrimp - so they took it back and we all waited for her meal to come back- we counted 5 small peeled shrimp which was a $9 up charge - cmon guys.. The atmosphere and decor is really nice and I would say the presentation is strong and everyone was delightful Oh and I had a minestrone soup which was EXCELLENT! Best part of the meal tbh Attention to detail and better ingredients for the value - this meal cost me the same I would pay for something 10x better in NYC - something to think of folks. But again a hotel restaurant - we only came here Because it was the only restaurant we called without need for a reservation two hours ahead of us - (now I know why lol) Dinner was $200 with tip for 4 ppl - this in my opinion - needed to better for what we paid

First visit to this restaurant and was very impressed. Two of us had the Salmon special and it was delicious. The veal Marsala and chicken franchise were also wonderful. Our server, Jennifer, couldn't have been sweeter or more attentive. All the staff were very friendly. Definitely a restaurant I will visit again.

The server assumed we knew the Italian named dishes by heart. Did not bring salad with entree as requested. Absolutely nothing to offer for kids. Got a bad vibe this time, will not be going again. $4 per shrimp to add on to pasta dish!! Wow...Panda Chinese hooked me up then!
