Dinner 5/26. One of the worse restaurant meals We have had in a long time. Not sure about the status of Italian food in Western PA, This certainly was not it. I had Chicken Parm. It came with bread, a bottomless salad (ice Berg and tomatoes) steamed veggies, penne pasta and THE WORSE sauce I have ever had. It seemed to be diced tomatoes heated up and pulled over my food. The chicken was a small round piece about the size of a hamburger. It was coated, not breaded and apparently deep fried, like a fast food sandwich. Two of my friends had the Lasagna, a request that was answered with "do you want the good stuff, or the stuff we usually serve" We did not stay for dessert, when we left the for workers standing around the front did not acknowledge us, or say good bye. Apparently they were tired if the place too. Never again for me, I suggest you would do better elsewhere

This is usually the only restaurant we care for in town. We always get strombolis and the appetizer platter. We also enjoy paying an extra $1.00 to get bottomless bread. Well, we went in for dinner on 5-30-18 and one of our chicken tenders on our platter was half the size of the rest. We also kept wondering why the waitress was not automatically bringing us a refill on our bread as they usually do. When she finally came back over, I asked if we could please have more bread and she says "We actually don't do the bottomless bread anymore. It is $1.00 per loaf." I think that is absolutely rediculous considering how small their "loaf" of bread is. Also, when we gave her our order, she should have told us about the bread at that point. She did not and just automatically brought us out 2 loaves of bread when she brought us our drinks. If I knew we were going to be charged for the bread, I would have told her to forget it. Honestly, we will not be going back after that incident. I was very disappointed. I also think it was rediculous to only be given 2 loaves of bread for 5 people.

This is a great place to order soup salad and bread, i promise you'll enjoy all their soups! Everything is very clean and organized, employees are very kind as well (I've been there over 100 times and have never had a problem with anyone). The pasta dishes here are great too! Italian Oven is a very popular place for locals and for travelers of Interstate 80.
