This is my wife's favorite restaurant. The whip always emphasizes fresh and organic ingredients and this translates into very flavorful vegetables and tender meat. They do have a few vegetarian options and gluten free choices as well if you've looking for that kind of thing. If you go to the whip just be prepared to wait a little while - such good food means there's always a line, bit it's well worth it. Plate quality is in between extremely good pub food to fine dining with their weekend specials.

A Real English Pub in horse country Pennsylvania. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent authentic food. We had the deep fried egg appetizer it was delicious and different. For dinner I had the shrimp and grits and my girlfriend had the cheese plate. Both were exceptional. We'll definitely be back!

Good food. $$$ No wine served but you can bring your own, $2.50 corkage fee. Not a lot of taps but beer selection is good. The Whip hard ciders are popular. Try the fish and chips. Outside seating on the back patio is pleasant on a summer evening. Worth the trip to find The Whip just for the patio.

Used to be top-notch. Recipes have changed and quality has gone down. Still pretty good, but not worth the usual 1-2 hour wait.

Cozy tavern with a fireplace, small bar and limited seating. Add your name to the queue and grab a pint. Very friendly staff and locals. Byo wine and spirits. Good selection of draft, bottle and canned beers including ciders. Excellent English pub fare, including, but not limited to, shepherds pie, fish and chips and fantastic mussels! Lamb chops were on special the night we enjoyed this pleasurable, must Go tavern.
