I loved Hoss's growing up and unfortunately all those around me have closed. Going in I was so excited. Excited diminished almost immediately. First our waitress had us sitting there for so long. Had enough time for everyone to use the restroom and even change the baby. Moving on. I simply asked if a substitution could be made already had an alternative if the answer was no. The waitress said it was no issue. So food arrives it wrong which she noticed before she even sat down the plate so she took it back to fix not even 2 minutes later she was back which was great until I cut into the meal almost ice cold. It's fine whatever I filled up on salad bar I'll take it home. It's cool could have ended on that not just wanted them to know. Well manager comes over and essentially blames me that what I ordered wasn't normal, then blames the waitress. Ok I have worked in the restaurant industry for 15 year I'm not dumb, a 2 minute fix would not make a meal completely cold. Would give the salad bar 5 stars itself if I could. And the manager goes on about oh I took off your meal just charged you for the salad bar which was a $3.49 add on by the way. Yes, thank you for taking off my $7.99 meal and exchanging it for a $8.99 meal instead of what the add on price was. I feel bad for the waitress yes but the way the manager handled the situation was completely wrong. I hope she has a better night.

We enjoy going to our local Hoss's, so when we found another houses to visit, we invited some visiting relatives to try as well. The menu, service, and even the setup of the location was near identical to ours. The food was just as good. We really enjoyed it

Usually a good place to eat. Stay away from the hot dog, too salty. Soups and salads are great. Always good service.

This Hoss's has a (well deserved) reputation for serving raw chicken. It's been a while since I've eaten here, because I refuse to go back. The last time I ate there, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with the salad bar. When it arrived, I took a bite, and found that it was completely raw on the inside. Bright pink. Remember, this is chicken, not steak, so "rare" is not acceptable. I pointed this out to the waitress, who apologized profusely. She then complained that she was having a miserable day, because she had a cold, but her manager had told her she couldn't call out sick from work. It's always great when management is more concerned about ensuring adequate shift coverage than from avoiding exposing their customers to communicable disease. She then came back and took the price of the sandwich off of the check. Really, the right thing to do would be to cancel the entire bill (it was just my wife and I), but clearly the manager wasn't concerned about saving a horrible customer experience. Since then, I know of a couple of local charity events held there, because Hoss's offers charities a service where a portion of each bill for meals on a given night go to that charity. We obviously missed that (I'd rather give money directly to the charity, even if I was willing to eat at Hoss's again), but some of our friends went. Guess what happened to 2 of them? They got served chicken that was raw inside. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great new changes to menu. You don't have to pay for what you don't order.like the salad bar. Or now you can get a sandwich. Big changes for the good.😁
