A slight mix-up in reserved seating was handled with extreme graciousness and accommodation by the hostess and staff while our group of 11 pondered the menu. The single bartender (?) worked like crazy to fill our drink orders (+changes) while also covering the regular brunch crowd. Our waitress ran tirelessly up and down the stairs, getting drinks and fulfilling our meal and dessert orders. Zero miscues, food at appropriate temperatures, beautifully prepared, cheerfully presented to the correct diner, with the offer of picture taking support. It was obvious the chef and kitchen staff (? + 3 Matts) love what they do. We were very pleased to meet them and our bartender after dessert and offer our heartfelt thanks for a delicious afternoon. Amber is professionally friendly, cheerful and exactly knowledgeable about the menu and her diners. Service was wonderful. This birthday celebration of cousins and parent was fun, happy, social and now very memorable. I can't say enough about our time at the House (except apologize for not getting everyone's name who served us). We will be honored to return.

This has reopened in same location as House and Barn, new management that has established locations in the valley. Below applies to former Farmhouse: This is an under-rated little gem in the valley. It's really too bad it's less visible from the road. It's much more personal than some of the other similar offerings in the area. The beer selection is the best around. The chef is amazing. Foie gras and oyster appetizers were unbelievably good. The main courses were equally delicious, but the scallops were top notch, and huge but tender like butter. Expect to pay a fair amount, but the food is very nicely prepared. The service I experienced was attentive, formal, and polite. This place should be rated higher. Yes it's a bit old looking, and looks run down from the outside, but the chef and staff make up for it.

Tonight I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Farmhouse with my husband, my best friend and her boyfriend to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We have been "regular" patrons at the Farmhouse but this was so different. The new menu and new chef were fabulous. We each ordered a different item so we could try more things. The menu was so good we had trouble deciding. Our server, Julia was amazing! Not only was she sweet, she really knew the menu and answered all of our questions without hesitation. This was a fantastic dining experience and we can hardly wait for the new brunch that is starting! Kudos to the Farmhouse!

Absolutely love this place! Expensive, but worth it for special occasions. They serve the best food I've tasted. (a close second is The Chicago Diner)

Excellent restaurant; a quaint, pleasant environment with a wide selection of delicious menu selections - prepared and served by an extremely competent staff. I wonderful place to have a special meal.
