This place is definitely a nice bit of Erie. A little dark and cozy inside with a nautical theme and good lake side views. Fish catches are always good and the staff is friendly and pretty quick. Definitely a spot to visit before or after walking around the lighthouse.

Quaint atomsphere, good food, very causal. Everyone is there for the same reason. Beautiful evening skies and entertainment. You'll see your friends there or make a new one. I've been going there for years.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and it was amazing. We ate outside right next to Erie and enjoyed the summer evening. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

I wrote the following review 10 visits ago The food and service stands 4.5 stars We have been here 4 times now great food Shirley was great, the food was great , I see the over all rate is under 4 ..... There's something wrong with that it nerds to be a 5 .. We dine all over the country and Smugglers Wharf is awesome, the atmosphere the service and the food top a 4.5 for us .. the portions where huge the food was hot and fresh and the peanut butter pie was simply sinful ... as far as the prices I did not notice any problems... If some one complains about thier prices maybe they need to eat at McDonalds on a busy city street with aromas of Transit Buses and sewer gas, ... If someone does not feel that having to mark up food for location and quality is wrong that person needs to eat from the Dollar Tree Frozen Food section ....... By the way the BBQ sauce is so unique and tasty please bottle it up so I can buy some

Nice location. Food was average and a bit pricey for how old the inside was. Needs some updating! Would return because of views and the food was ok.
