Just ate here and had to give a great review. Got jerk chicken, curried chicken, a side of plantains, and a meat patty. It was delicious and the portions were a food size. The chicken was super tender and the plantains and meat patty were indulgent. It's a simple place with simple meals but worth your money.

Have you ever wondered why wars were started over spices!?!? They offer their guest the most savory seasonings and West Indian authenticity. Their curry has the most tantalizing aroma! Also, the prices and serving sizes cannot be beat!!!

I ordered the jerk chicken and shrimp, it was awful too spicy couldn’t taste anything else after this I know it was suppose to be spicy but it was way too hot it didn’t have much flavor. Besides there were bones all through the rice. Plus the lady who took my order was very rude at that! I went to royal Caribbean in wilkinsburg few weeks after and there jerk chicken was flavorful with the right amount of spice you could taste the Smokeyness to it as if it just came off the grill no small bones . Larger choice of sides. I won’t be eating at fireside again

mostly a takeaway but you can also eat in. food is cooked fresh so they might only have a few dishes left in the evening. tastes yummy and the price is fair.
